Your first class
I've never done yoga. Will I be out of place?
No. Every class has someone on their first visit. Tell the teacher when you arrive, they'll keep an eye on you, offer modifications, and make sure you have what you need. Our Beginners class is built around new students.
First time? Your first two classes for £11.50.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing you can move in, gym wear or activewear usually works best. We practise barefoot and there's a changing area where you can leave shoes and bags.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just an open mind and a bottle of water. Mats, blocks, bolsters and blankets are all provided. A small towel is useful for stronger classes if you tend to run warm.
Do I need to be flexible?
No, flexibility comes from practice, not the other way around. Many of our students started barely able to touch their toes.
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes before class. That gives you time to set up your mat, settle, and grab a cup of green tea in the lounge.
Classes & schedule
How do I book?
Book online. You'll find the Book button on every page, and on the Timetable page. Classes often fill the day before, so it's worth booking ahead.
What if a class is full?
Join the waiting list when you book. If a space comes up, Momence, our booking system, will let you know.
How often should I practise?
As often as feels good. Once a week builds a steady practice. Two to three times a week starts to change your body. Five to six is for the committed, listen to your body either way.
Are men welcome?
Yes, of course. Plenty of men practise here, including several of our regulars.
Passes & payment
Do you offer memberships?
No binding memberships, we sell flexible class passes (2, 4, 8, or 12 classes) and an Unlimited Pass. Class passes activate on your first class and expire 29 days later. The Unlimited Pass runs for 28 days. Drop-in is also available.
Can I share a pass with a friend?
Passes are non-transferable. Buy a gift voucher if you want someone else to have one, same passes, gifted.
What's the cancellation policy?
Cancellations more than 4 hours before class are free. Inside 4 hours, the class is deducted from your pass. See the refunds page for the full policy.

There's a small changing area and toilet facilities inside the studio. Most students change before or after, there are no full showers on site.
