We work with specialist partners to provide some of our classes, such as pre and post pregnancy yoga, relaxation, meditation and baby massage. These classes are booked directly with our partners whose contact details you will find below. All other Yoga classes can be booked directly with the Yoga Loft. 

Ashtanga Vinyasa Classes

Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is a sequence of postures, synchronised with breath. All of these postures (or asanas) are performed in the same sequence and held for a number of breaths.

 Ashtanga Vinyasa is a powerful and athletic style of yoga that is grounded in a strong sense of purpose. This style is great if you enjoy discipline and mastering your technique through practicing the same sequence of poses each class before moving on to the next series of poses.

Our Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga classes are based on the true essence of this style and grounded in the  8 limbs of yoga. Read about the 8-limbs in more detail in our 'About Yoga' section and you
will also find plenty of information at the studio.

Vinyasa Flow Classes

Vinyasa is a style of yoga that links poses and postures together in a flowing sequence, synchronised with breath. In a vinyasa class expect to move with a little more pace through
the poses which can be taught in any particular order with an ashtanga influence.

Vinyasa is great if you enjoy diversity and like to keep moving. Each class will include a variety of sequences focussing on different areas of the body and through controlled breath can help calm the mind. Vinyasa is often referred to as a moving meditation.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Assisted Self-Practice Classes

Mysore is 'Self Practice;' a great class for all levels and abilities, although we would
recommend that beginners familiarise themselves with the Ashtanga Vinyasa practice first. The class is 'open' which means that students perform the Ashtanga Vinyasa series of postures at their own pace guided by their teacher. Different students will complete the class at different  times depending on their experience.

Restorative Yoga Classes

Restorative yoga aims to achieve balance between physical, mental and emotional relaxation with the aid of props such as blocks, bolsters and belts. Restorative yoga is the perfect complement to the more dynamic classes and can help you to progress your practice by focusing on the fascia or connective tissue that often leads to tightness within the body. Restorative classes seek to help achieve a relaxed state of mind and body that allows you to open, re-connect and feel like new again!

'Broga' Classes

Broga is a men-only class. Strong, energetic,and challenging, Broga combines the best core-strengthening, muscle-toning, cardio-working, stress-reducing, clarity-enhancing yoga postures, with a focus on opening up areas of the male anatomy that suffer from tightness and lack of flexibility.

To complement our Broga class we are now introducing restorative Broga to help progress your practice, open up and release the tight fascia tissue of the male body. Using props such as blocks, bolsters and belts we are able to target the tight connective tissues of the body.

Pre and Post Natal Yoga Classes

We are proud to work in partnership with body to baby to bring you specific classes designed especially for expectant and new mums. These classes help you to prepare and restore your body and mind during and after pregnancy.

Yoga postures are carefully adapted and tailored to help women in all stages of pregnancy and post birth, keeping your muscles and mind strong and relaxed at this exciting time of your life.

Baby Massage Classes

 Baby massage classes are designed to combine both reflexology and massage to create a magical routine for parent and baby to bond. Baby massage can benefit both parent and toddler in many ways, to include ; bonding, constipation, reflux, sleep, teething and so much more.
